Annville Paradise Summer Vacation For Grand Kids 2016 Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

It's summer time.
Four grand kids came for their vacation.
It's hot season and they swim as much as they like.
Pool water is clear, fresh and it invites day and night.
They swim, they rest, they play around the pool.
This year, there are three girls and a boy
They play and they shout with joy.
There is a sliding board with running water
They take turn and they laugh all the way down.
They compete in seeing who slides the longest distance
And to see who makes the biggest splash.
Grandparents swim with them many times
We swim back and forth on our backs or our sides
We swim in the morning, or middle of the day
We swim in evening to watch the moon and starry sky.
Grand kids go fishing for two days
Grandpa hooks their worms and they hold their rods.
Fish swim around but they don't bite at the first fishing spot
After long while, they change spot and they catch a lot of fish.
Grand kids shout with their excitement
They call for grandpa to net their fish.
In two days, we catch few dozen pounds of trout
We have fish prepared for filet, ready for frying pan.
Grand mom fries and seasons fish with special fish sauce
Grand kids love this dish and they eat a lot of rice.
They spend two days at Dutch Wonderland
They are soaked with sweats because of 90-degree heat.
Tired of walking, they sit to rest.
They ride mini train, or sit in buckets of Skyline
They drive cars on Turnpike track
They ride in boats of Dragon Lagoon.
Divers perform from high tower of diving pool
They shout and laugh with 'cannon ball splash'
Grand kids enjoy Dinosaurs
But they scream when riding in Space shuttle.
By noon time, it's so hot in direct sun
They play with falling water on their heads, in water park.
After moving around the whole day,
They all feel tired and ready for bed rest.
They visit Hershey few times
They spend the rest of their vacation at Annville Paradise.

ANNVILLE PARADISE BỐN CHÁU NGHỈ HÈ 2016

Mùa hè, bốn cháu tới chơi
Mùa này trời nóng, tha hồ cháu bơi.
Hồ trong, nước mát, gọi mời
Chán bơi, cháu lại ngồi chơi bên hồ.
Lần này bốn chị em chơi
Một trai ba gái, la to quá trời.
Cầu trơn, nước chảy, cháu ngồi
Thi nhau cháu tuột, cháu cười thảnh thơi.
Thi rằng ai tuột xa hơn
Ai làm nước tóe cao hơn mọi người.
Ông bà cùng cháu vui bơi.
Bơi nghiêng, bơi ngửa, ngược xuôi bao lần.
Khi thì bơi sáng, bơi trưa
Khi thì bơi tối, nhìn trăng sao trời.
Hai ngày bốn cháu đi câu
Mồi trùn ông lắp, cần câu cháu cầm.
Chờ lâu cá chẳng chịu ăn
Thế rồi đổi chỗ, cá ăn liền liền.
Cháu mừng vội vã la lên
Nhờ ông mang lưới vớt thêm cá này.
Hai ngày, Trout mấy chục cân
Phi-lê làm sẵn, chỉ cần bà chiên.
Cá chiên, nước mắm trộn đều
Món này cháu thích, ăn nhiều với cơm.
Hai ngày, Dutch Wonderland
Nắng trời chín chục, áo đằm mồ hôi.
Chán đi rồi cháu lại ngồi
Khi toa xe lửa, khi ngồi Skyline.
Lái xe, cháu chạy Turnpike
Cháu đi thuyền nhỏ Dragon Lagoon.
Hồ trong, người nhẩy cột cao
Mỗi khi nước tóe, cháu la cháu cười.
Cháu mừng gặp Dinosaur
Nhưng mà khóc thét trên Tầu-không-gian.
Giữa trưa, trời nắng chang-chang
Cháu chơi dưới nước, chạy quanh đầu trần.
Sau khi đi đứng cả ngày
Chân tay cháu mỏi, về nhà ngủ say.
Hershey cháu tới mấy lần
Ngoài ra, cháu ở địa đàng Annville.
