Another For Ema Poem by God is Good

She's gone for the week,
my dearest little friend.
I can't help but feel weak,
least till I see her again.
I know it sounds strange,
but she's all I care about.
She didn't want to go,
which made her scream and shout.
She cried out my name,
and reached for my hand.
I noticed the fear in her eyes,
saw her soul, so bland.
Again, I couldn't save her.
My mind now, so exhausted.
I was doing preety good,
but I'm afraid I have now lost it.
I won't be the same
till she's back in my sight.
When she is, and in my arms,
I will then be alright.
