Memories on a sandy beach,
Fishermen upon the pier,
Boats upon the ocean wide,
Sun shines down,
The sea so near.
Punch and Judy,
Can be heard,
Squabbling as they always do,
Childrens laughter fills the air,
Fun filled days,
Just me and you.
A walk along the rocky cove,
The breeze is gentle on my face,
Seaweed lays on dampened sand,
Sharing a day,
In our special place.
Tide comes in,
And we head back,
Collecting shells along the way,
Precious memories,
Fondly kept,
Of yet another summer day.
