Antelope Poem by Eugene Levich

Antelope

Antelope

A perfume
By Weil
Formulated 1928

She wore it
I loved her
Her scent
Intoxicating

But almost nothing
Remains the same

Reformulated 2008
Different ingredients

Different Antelope
Different Me
Different She

I still love her,
Anyway,
And that will never change
At least
While I breathe

this BEGS for a poet's note, or not. i suppose it is romantic, as Sandra says below; i'm no judge of romance, never having made any myself (romance, that is, not perfume) . Beach Girl loves perfumes and writes about them sometimes. i'll have to send this to her. i once bought a wife [which one? ] a perfume called Rhino. it smelled just like a rhino in heat. we had good times then! ! but i could have done without the gorings. thanks for sharing. bri :)

How beautifully Romantic, The simplicity of the form, adored, Like the perfume of a new born Rose It fully reaches the readers heart, Where it will stay, Never to be forgot. A Perfect Poem.
