Anyone There? Poem by David Taylor

Anyone There?

Rating: 5.0

Now I don’t know
who you are
or where you are
or if you’re reading this

I guess if I don’t
know this
I really can’t
ask you for
anything.
Certainly not
a manly hug
or a tender
female kiss.

So how about
A note instead
Just to let
me know
that you really
do exist!

'Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened for you....' Now this is a poem that gives one a BIG smile and begs for an answer in such a clever and enthralling way. I think this is one of your best, if indeed there can be one among so many great ones~~~~~marci.xo
