Anything May Happen Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Anything May Happen

Rating: 5.0

A monkey and gets drunk, too stricken,
Then is stung by a mad, mad scorpion,
Possest thence by spirit
Making it worse to wit,
This or that— anything can happen.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This verse tickles a funny bone. A monkey as we know is mad. What if it gets drunk? What happens if a scorpion bites it, or gets possessed by spirit? Anything may happen.
