Apathy Indifference Infestations Poem by Terence George Craddock

Apathy Indifference Infestations

people unwilling to take a risk
help others too scared too indifferent
to intervene aid offer comfort

the consequences of indifference
is letting people struggle suffer alone?
even letting people live die alone?

who will review indifference causes

exhausted spent lives bad health poverty
escapism addictions greed exploitations
institutionalized racism state genocides

violence begot violence
hate begot hate rage begot revenge
vile torture begot torture

love enlightened hearts
exceptional or ordinary
beautiful gift loving people

break circles of violence indifference
gift love time aid to desperate people gift
life sow moments of peace better worlds
