Apparent Pleasure Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Apparent Pleasure

Rating: 5.0

A-pparent pleasure is felt,
R-apture is here to stay;
A-ll of the good greetings
C-ome into your way.
E-asy to understand,
L-et your birth bring much mirth,
I-'ll see the beautiful morn, breaking between heaven and earth.

D-ay twenty-seven in July,
E-cstasy ends the night;
L-onely evening has passed,
A-s the sun is shining bright.

P-erfect pleasure is realized,
E-ndless gladness and joy jell;
N-ew day has just broken,
A-llowing you to do well.

M-anifest to the mind
A-ll of the wishes are clear;
R-ecognized by the heart,
Q-uesting not to disappear.
U-sing your eyes to behold
E-arly light brightens the future;
Z-one of mist is swept by the dawn to share apparent pleasure.
