April Fools Poem by G J Salgado

April Fools

He talks ill of her when she is not around,
When he should worship wherever she steps on the ground,
She knows of the words he speaks but doesn't make a sound.
For she knows of another whom is worthy of her, a true love she has found.

Too busy in his world of self righteousness he fails to notice her absence,
April enjoys peacefulness and love within her new abundance,
She has now gained support, friendship, a soul mate and confidence,
As her sad excuse of a past is now no longer a part of her new existence.
