The dusty track led to the cliff
The wind off the sea made the spray drift
The small South Australian town
Of Ardrossan looked down on the cliffs surround
The cooling breeze tempered the Summer sun
As the wheat grain ship sailed off its loading done
The St Vincent Gulf sparkled in deep blue tones
On a perfect Summer day in a memory owned.
