Art Is A Lolly Scramble Poem by Terence George Craddock

Art Is A Lolly Scramble

in anxiety crisis
sometimes
words

will not flow

in time
a few hours
days weeks

art may return

with a rush
like a puppy
wanting to play

catch up

chase ball
art playful
or pensive

plays on art terms

sometimes
art just wants
sunshine and roses

sometimes
art is a lolly scramble
every child

for his or her self

art thrown away
like candy blesses
other catching lives
