As One In Verse Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Music pulling our hearts into pools of sadness and sorrow over
the loss of those we've loved and now lost through the years,
both as one in verses that we are writing.

Touching upon feelings we each have hidden within us, only now
showing their depth of intensity when we write them into poetry,
telling the world the truth of our poetical lives on earth.

Heads bowed in sorrow for our loved ones, a prayer always in
our hearts and upon our lips for one another to have hope
still shining within each of us.
