Ashes Sleeps In My Bed - Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD
Ashes is sleeping in my bed
It’s early in the morning, just 4: 45 am.
With gentle hands and regular breaths
I sit next to her, rubbing her head and her back.
As she wants to be cuddled
She rests comfortably on her side and exposes her neck.
With her closed eyes she rubs her head against my hand
Which means give me more rubs here, please.
Very gently, I rub Ashes' head with my hand
She falls back to sleep, and she sleeps very happily.

ASHES NẰM NGỦ TRÊN GIƯỜNG - Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN
Ashes nằm ngủ trên giường
Bây giờ sáng sớm bốn giờ bốn lăm.
Nhẹ tay, hơi thở nhịp nhàng
Tôi ngồi bên cạnh, vuốt đầu, thoa lưng.
Giờ này Ashes muốn cưng
Nó nằm thoải má, ngiêng lưng ưỡn cằm.
Mắt nhắm, đầu cạ bàn tay
Ý rằng thoa nữa chỗ này ông ơi.
Tay tôi vuốt tới vuốt lui
Mèo thiêm thiếp ngủ, lòng vui thật nhiều.
