A'stone'ment Poem by Ima Ryma

A'stone'ment

Rating: 5.0

I did mistakenly write 'piece'
When 'peace' is what I meant to write.
Arrested by grammar police,
The hand of judgment down did smite.
Court of opinion I did face.
Punctuated sentence I got,
Then taken to a public place
Where stones were thrown at me a lot.
Even my family was there,
Throwing stones at me with the rest.
This only caused me more despair.
My crime was badder than I'd guessed.

All piece of mind was gone as I
Had to watch peaces of me fly.

Love it! I've had a few lectures from the grammar police. Like being back in school again! Lol x
