We're guilty
touched the devil's skin
and sinned against
humanity
at Lampedusa
the lights went down
by Medusa
all those who frown
in heartbreak and despair
the water-tide
the dikes of human flesh
the stench is fresh
its turning floods
with corpses
drained from blood
we stained our soul
our whole community
Europe, Eureka we
We're guilty
touched the devil's skin
and sinned against
humanity
so let us show
some dignity! !

Madrason for the victims
now and in the past,
refugees which died
with there lives still on the horizon
