Autistic Poem by Amy Marie

Autistic

Rating: 3.0

The transparent unpopping bubble
Wraps itself inevitably

Around my colorful scented air.
A magnifying glass. Electrifying and called for.

Whatever I take in like a new drink –
My hand-knitted

Homemade mind
Alters like written words.

The words are illuminated visions –
And the visions – Destiny.

Imagination accompanies their glory.
So do her loyal friends – Childhood and Creativity.

They gladly gather around
The newborn visions

As if they were babies.
Autistic and innocent.
