the poem tells beautifully how autumn is celebrated in traditional ways in south India, especially in Tamil Nadu...on 'Adi Perukku' day- almost the mid of winter solstice- the south west monsoon will be at its prime making the rivers flow full and powerful...a good poem on seasonal remembrance 10
