Autumn Love Poem by Kinsley Lee

Autumn Love

Hee-Chul, Nahm

When it comes, do you hear the sounds of coming free?
When September came, did you ever think of me?

With the sorrowful thought of you, only you.
Even the scorching summer is the joyful fetters
Indifferently and deafly, you with no hue,
Come as if nothing has happened stealthy like debtors.

In the morning, your breath suddenly wakes me with longing,
And it welcomes you, the painfully, little remaining yearning.

The street trees shed their faded tears like in the forest.
And even the maple leaves I knew blush as if embarrassed.

On Jongno in last year's September, we met again by chance,
My dear, will you remember the wrinkled me at a glance?
