Awaiting Spring([jué Jù])

九言绝句 盼春

今夜清风拂过万千梢,
簌簌细雨蒙蒙润叶苞。
掩卷静听屋檐珠翠坠,
细数红梅盼遍访荒郊。

Awaiting Spring

Tonight the breeze rustles thousand of branches,
Raindrops stream down to moisten the budding leaves;
All books closed, I hear pearls patter from the eaves,
While count paint'd petals, craving for the suburbs.
