Weeping Willows Poem by Perdita Young (Hanna Wang)

Weeping Willows

Rating: 5.0

Tender leaves of green,
Dewy to the eye,
Farewell to a Darling,
Always sad, oh sigh!

Good care of each self,
Under different sky;
Think of these new twigs,
When plans go awry.

Farewell to a Darling is given by green leaves. Sadness is brilliantly expressed in this poem. Good care is needed in life. Amazing sharing is done!

Thank you so much for your comment and encouragement, Headmaster. A willow twig to a departing friend/lover has been a kind of ceremony(recorded in ancient Chinese poetry) to express one's sorrow and attachment.I borrowed this symbol :)
