Báisteach San Óiche(Rain In The Night) - Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Tá na bláthanna
ag gol.

Ta na héin
ag gol.

Ta an gaoth
ag gol.

Ta na duilleoga
ag gol.

Mise
fresin

sa
dorchadas .

***

RAIN IN THE NIGHT.

The flowers are crying.

The birds are crying.

The wind is crying.

The leaves are crying.

Me
also

in the darkness.
