Babes In The Wood Poem by gershon hepner

Babes In The Wood

Rating: 3.5

The novelist’s art can compel our beliefs,
reality sometimes defies them,
but writers, behaving like preachers and thieves,
interpret the facts to disguise them.
The authors of scripture polemicize, too,
with message misunderstood
by people who faithfully all rendezvous
with bibles like babes in the wood.

By this one assumes that all who have bibles are being mislead, and I don't agree. What about one who reads for oneself?
