Backseat Drivers (Fun Poem 87) Poem by David Harris

Backseat Drivers (Fun Poem 87)

Rating: 5.0

Have you ever had those days
when you have had a backseat driver
giving directions to you?
Think yourself lucky that it was one,
and then think of me with two!
One wants you to go in one direction
and the other wants you to go in another.
Confused?
You can get that way
and it’s so easy when you know the way,
but they don’t think you do.
The question that comes to mind,
just what do you do?
Easy, carry on regardless
and ignore the both of them.
In fact, that is exactly what I had to do.
