If I were to die tonight
Before my bacon and eggs
Digested to such sunrise
That even God would soon cry
If the moonlight had so dimmed
As if to forecast demise
Of life yet so unfulfilled
And so damn greatly squandered
If sunset had so yellowed
To make my mood damn mellowed
When full moon had prevailed
And lone wolves had so howled
If my damn darkest secrets
Could never be revealed
And I were to die tonight
I regret having lost you
