Bad Aim
The gun lobby and industry
Own enough politicians to
Make the public believe there be
Big time confiscation to do,
And scare We the People to buy
More gun stuff at inflated price.
Meanwhile the politicians lie
About such evil merchandise.
Not just conservies buy in fear.
Gun sales boom in libbie Frisco.
All is a gun crazed atmosphere.
We are the targets - doncha know!
The gun powers are loaded full,
As politicians shoot the bull.

Ah well you can't put the genie put back in the bottle. But I can't criticise. I come from a culture where gun ownership is rare, so my knowledge is limited. It does seem madness looking in from the outside at the sadness of these terrible mass shootings but vested interests always win. A good poem about fear and greed. Thanks for sharing BB : O)
