Knowing her singing ability non-existent
She sings Karaoke songs very badly
Knowing it too soon to polish her Grammy award
Knowing random judgemental comments
Cut deep like a vicious and sharp sword.

But she is with friends who laugh kindly
She knows her self-belief not to be thought
Of negatively or upsettingly blindly
For her skills are unique with no critique
Not being in front of a too honest audience.

Accepting who she is under trials and tribulations
Searching her entire life to discover her inner self
Where she stops comparing herself to other people
Where she finally learns to respect herself
Even though she is rubbish at singing and the guitar.

Knowing her own artistic talents make her a star
Life continually moving forward and being stern
Appreciating her smartness and sense of fun
Singing karaoke songs very badly
But having the time of her life on her own terms.
