Bad Spirits Poem by David Darbyshire

Bad Spirits

Rating: 4.8

From a bottle of gin,
you'll get the devil within.
He'll come out and grin,
you will never win.

We all know it's a sin,
when you've been drinkin.
But that does not stop anybody,
from goin down, and sinkin.

bad spirits, bad booze
all in all you choose.
Take your pick, be brave
might as well dig a grave.

Dave...I have to say...I sort of agree with Nalini on this one...nothing like an ice cold gin n tonic...well except maybe and ice cold beer...or an ice cold slushy margarita....Provaocative poem though! Hugs, Dee

have the bad booze...then the bad spirits dig your grave for you...all you need to do is lie down and play dead...and that's easy after the booze...lol...great going, dave...nalini
