Bangabandhu
How many poems you have written, o Tagore!
How many poems, o Jibanananda Das!
How many immortal pictures you have drawn, o Zainul!
How many songs you have composed, o Nazrul!
Bangabandhu throughout his whole life
Has written only one poem - 'Bangladesh'.
Only one song he has sung with the tune of heart
And only one picture he has drawn- 'Bangladesh'.

সায়ীদ আবুবকর
তোমরা লিখেছো কত যে কবিতা, রবি
কত যে কবিতা, জীবনানন্দ দাশ
জয়নুল, কত এঁকেছো অমর ছবি
কত, নজরুল, করেছো গানের চাষ
বঙ্গবন্ধু সারাটি জীবন ধরে
একটি কবিতা লিখেছে- ‘বাংলাদেশ'
একটাই গান গেয়েছে হৃদয় ভরে,
একটাই ছবি এঁকেছে- ‘বাংলাদেশ'
