Be Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Be

I feel obsession,
From the oblivion of your eyes,
To The wake of your stare,
Words elapse into the horizon of your smile,
The world capsizes into the plunder of your steps,
Soft pats that send shivers up my spine, small tremors that arrive
just before the full quiver takes hold,
paralyzed in the motion of your stare,
Devouring any fear, any doubt until there's nothing left,
Lips quiver, begging for more,
The planets align,
One by one to see the beauty of you, watch as they wrap their beautiful colors around the heavens,
How they wish they could feel the warmth of your touch, the wisp of the wind as it blows past you,
The stratosphere of where they long the most,
The gentle caress of How something so simple can be cherished as a treasure,
An enigma within itself,
Watch As they turn their lights off, One by one,
So the beauty of your smile can shine its brightest, from tallest to small,
From your head,
Your eyes,
Your lips,
Eyes once celibate, become taken,
No longer a stranger to the look of depth, no longer afraid to accept the realization of need,
the single glance of hands,
Lips, the height eyes can touch,
A connection of minds, in hopes to grow with one another,
As ash becomes more than clay,
New breath, resurrection of something new,
Constellations made with each kiss as it connects the stars,
Fingers trace hearts in the stars,
Dyslexic to the words evol as we ourselves become lost,
Lost in a dream,
Lost in the debris,
Lost in obsession,
As we long to Be
