'Be True To Yourself' Poem by james watkin

'Be True To Yourself'

Of all instructive voices, one
Listens to and obeys
None better serves, what's kindliest
For his own, all his days.
That soft pled 'be true to yourself'.
Noise; all that's heard besides!
Frustrates, or tries, wind-like whose song
Soul's; bird's own freedom hides.
