Daughter, you may give your child
Better bread and newer toys
Than I did you in those days.
I note you spend with your daughter
Less time and show less concern,
Unlike the care I exerted on you
You may enlarge its head
But mind, you shrink its heart.
The society needs compassion.
The society needs empathy.
Spend time with the child for caring
So that it can care when you need.
