Beautiful Cannes



Beautiful Cannes

sun-flavoured beach
wine favoured each
love the beach love the fun
so much sun
unbelievable
incredible
but delectable
the summer crepes
the white nutcakes
the cakes and ale
made me oft pale,
the world's at your feet,
Grace Kelly was here
but La Princesse
with her perpetual jeunesse,
remains here still
all of a sudden her life was broken,
she left me no token
only broken memories
