Beauty Queen. Poem by Joseph Tanner

Beauty Queen.

Rating: 5.0

Beautiful people at every turn,
Under the knife they go,
Life in a fickle world.
We all have beauty.
Forget the implants,
Holding back of time,
Liposuction,
Where did you go?
Collagen filled lips,
Does Botox work on hours and days?
Caked in make-up,
Don’t smudge the mascara.
Dry up those tears,
Pull yourself away from the toilet bowl,
Beauty Queen.
Beauty is in the skin you wear!

Very perceptive, and true. Nothing is more 'normal' than to be who you are. Inner beauty gives grace to the living face. You're a deep one - I perceive many levels here.
