Because I Loved You - Poem by Katherine Kay Graven

You was mine
When did I loose you
Your love for me
When did I loose it
You made promises
Why did you break them

What was the reason behind your love?

What about me…
I’m in love with you
What about me
I can’t believe we’re through

What about me?

I remember all the lies
I remember all the tears
I remember you leaving
But why are you still here.

For your voice is echoing
For your ghost is haunting
For my heart is bleeding
I am filled with such confusion

Why did everything end this way?

(Because I loved you?)
