Drifting away tossed side to side
Not relenting of its grip
Being brought down in its grasp
Choking and gasping for breath
Thrashing ripping away with frail hands
Being beating and sliced
Blood dripping from the wounds no one can see
Crying out in pain
No tears come
Being taken away
No one is there
No longer yourself
But what you feared
You would be
