Bedside Flowers Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Bedside Flowers

Slow and easy, prayers entering minds of those who have known
one another for years in life, varying throughout the crowd.

Savoring moments of our lives together, never really thinking
about dying while living fully in every moment through music.

Then one last good-bye as we part and go to our vehicles and
home, flowers blooming without knowing they are being seen at
our bedside, a last moment of breath and life is ended.
