Beeline Poem by Lamar Cole

Beeline

Rating: 5.0

He remembered when he lived on the farm.
Then he could weather any storm.
His move to the big city was a huge mistake.
To survive he just didn't have what it takes.

He would have to give up his values in things that matter.
If he wanted to climb the financial ladder.
So he made a beeline back to the farm.
So that his mind could be free from harm.
