Beginning Of The End
Contaminated skies cry acid tears
As the forest disappears
Increasing temperatures foretelling our demise
A charred landscape lies below the sunrise
Polar ice caps melt away
Growing smaller day by day
Intense storms batter the shore
Destroying the beach, I used to adore
Hearing a newborn as it cries
I watch the world as it slowly dies
So to search for another planet to live, that the evils of mankind destroyed the earth. This is not what we expected from our short life. 5 stars for you and your beautiful poem
