মুখোশের আড়ালে/Behind The Mask Poem by Shah Alam Al Mujahid

কবি, মিথ্যার কাছে যেও না,
মিথ্যার শপথ নিও না,
মিথ্যার পথে থেকো না,
মিথ্যার প্রশ্রয় দিও না।

Poet, never go near a lie,
Never swear upon a lie,
Never walk the path of lies,
Never give shelter to falsehood.

মিথ্যার কাছে গেলে
অশান্তি মেলে;
মিথ্যা কাউকে চিরদিন
সুখে থাকতে দেয় না।

When you draw near to lies,
You find unrest and pain;
Falsehood never lets anyone
Live in happiness forever.

মিথ্যার প্রসাধনী মেখে
সুন্দর হওয়া যায় না;
বৃষ্টির জলে ভিজলে পরে
মুখোশ থাকে না।

No one can become beautiful
By adorning themselves with lies;
When drenched in the rain,
The mask can no longer remain.

মিথ্যা আনে অন্ধকার,
কেড়ে নেয় আলো;
মিথ্যা ঠকায় যুগে যুগে
মানুষকে করে কালো।

Falsehood brings darkness,
And takes away the light;
It deceives people through the ages,
And darkens the human soul.

সত্যের আলো জ্বেলে দাও
বুকের অন্ধকারে;
প্রদীপ হাতে ছুটে চলো
মিথ্যা ছেড়ে বহুদূরে।

Light the flame of truth
Within the darkness of your heart;
Run forth with a lamp in your hand,
Leaving falsehood far behind.

সত্যের পথে জীবন গড়ো,
জ্ঞানের আলো বুকে;
আলোর পথে এগিয়ে চলো,
সফলতার সুখে।

Build your life upon the path of truth,
With the light of knowledge in your heart;
Keep moving toward the light,
And embrace the joy of success.
