Being A Teen Poem by Chris Newlash

Being A Teen

Rating: 5.0

Scare Crow, Mad Hatter,
McDonald's, getting fatter,
Pierced nipples, pink hair,
World ending, don't care,
Eating and, mind disorders,
Throwing up french fry orders,
Cutting veins, slitting wrists,
Starving self, loneliness.
Best friends, lost lover,
Paranoid, under cover,
Staying up, can't sleep,
Over thinking, thinking deep,
Sex and drugs, change scene,
It's all about, being a teen.

Yes! Deep thinking it is. I have a feeling you do know enough to keep away from all of these. Now read mine - Bloom of Youth Adeline

More like the rock'n'roll life style bro.....great insight piece....But it's all part of growing up and finding yourself...it's what makes us who we are later on...that stands the test of time.....Enjoy life, and live it to the full.....Lifes too short for if's and maybe's......But it's nice when we look back when we get older, of how we were growing up..........I used to live my life in the fast lane....more in the bus lane now though lol...............thanks for the share
