Belin I Totally Missed Your Birthday - Poem by Miesh 2005

To my sister:

Belated Birthdays are kind of uncool
Sisters who neglect them are even more the fool

I wrote it down, I swear on my being
I was sending you something fancy and European

But tax season was here and I was a stress
So I didn’t even have time to look up your address

Now that its over and a better person shines through
I have decided to get my act together and send something to you.

Its not super fancy, just a little something to adorn
Because after all, you should get something celebrating the day you were born

Its Victoria’s Secret, its style does not lack
But if it doesn’t fit, let me know, and we’ll send it on back

The girl in the picture had a figure just like you
So I assume it will look great on your body too

It’s always nice to get a little something in the mail
As long as it not a bomb or some anthrax to inhale

So here it is, your poem and a gift
I’m sorry I could not afford a boob job and lift

But it’s all the same, the thought that counts
So when you think of me take off that pout

No matter how far away Belin, I really didn’t forget
Even though it’s late, your birthday was the day that we met

You’re my sister, tried and true
Even unorganized, I will always love you (to infinity and beyond)
So it is written, this hokey poem,
Author being, your sister, Michele the crome dome (private joke)
