Sister, My Dearest Sister Poem by ER Bron Chiong, RSW

Sister, My Dearest Sister

Sister, sweet sister
I wonder how you are
Sister, my sweet sister
The classical one in a million
Ever thought how great you are
Reminds me of my younger days
you taught me how to love

Days passed and years gone
Education brought us miles apart
Aware of what's going to happen
Reverence your plans ahead
Even in such a bit of a hurry
Still you are my sister
To whom I came to admire
now you know even though
some things drifted us apart

Sister, sweet sister
I was blessed to have one like you
Sister, my sweet sister
Time passes by so quickly
Events are dearly kept in mind
Respect for who you really are
I love to tell you once more
you are my ever-dearest sister
who made me who I am
thanks for the wonderful memories
and inspiration we shared
together as one big happy family
