Beneath The Heavenly Sun Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Beneath The Heavenly Sun

And you were there when needed most,
With you I shared a smile,
Your hand I took in my hand,
I'd run a thousand miles,
Just to see your face again,
Just to hear your voice,
If only I had the chance again,
But sadly I've no choice,
But think of you,
Sweet memories held,
Of long lost days of fun,
I long to hold your hand one day,
Beneath the heavenly sun.
