Beside The Fireplace

Memories with each heartbeat,
Safe within the soul,
Memories of childhood,
In a village of pure gold.
Nights around the fireside,
Warmth was special then,
Days of picking bluebells,
Sweet memories of then,
Walking through the mountainside,
Looking down on life,
Days i shall remember,
Morning noon and night.
