Beside The Lilac Tree Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Beside The Lilac Tree

Rating: 5.0

I see your face as my eyes close,
You sit beside the lilac tree,
Your radiance like a tender rose,
Such beauty shines so lovingly.
Dreams are where I see you now,
For there you are so plain so clear,
Your gentle hand that reaches out,
Beckoning, longing, to walk with me.
For there is hope within a dream,
That maybe we will meet one day,
My favourite place is there with you,
Those special dreams in every way.
