Between Birth And Death Poem by Indira Renganathan

Between Birth And Death

Rating: 5.0

Years many gone and
Still going.Some dead, some old
The infant will not crawl again

Towards the end
Rain stops.A desert burns
No shade to rest

Tears turn volatile
Bring in dark clouds which
Abolish sensing in darkness

Birth blooms like lotus
As if all knowing. Death grows
Day by day as if unknowing all

Life is just between
The two poles like a bird on an
Electric wire that's shot unnotified
