Bewitched Poem by Selene White

Bewitched

A woman like you

Has no right to cast such a powerful spell

Over someone like me

Swaying to the music that was so loud

Making my ears ring

Your laugh was the loudest of all of it

Tugging at my heart strings

Making me feel so vulnerable

A spell's power and energy gathering

With ever step you make to the music

With ever sway of your hips

Gathering and a whispering of intent

Into my ear with a sly smile across your face

You know all too well of the power

That you hold over me

I grin, I couldn't help it

You were luring my into the spell

Into the dance

Almost like you were a siren,

And I was a sailor at sea

Luring me in instead of with a song

With soft words and smiles
