Biased Silence Poem by Abdul Wahab

Biased Silence

Rating: 5.0

The same ball of fire
At the distant corner
With the same flame
With the fragrance
Of firmament
Sweet and delicate
Of the same dawn

In the transparent
Moment of my journey
I feel tired
Like the morning dog
A weight
Pressing me down
Feel sleepy
Over the vast space
Pull and push
A tug of war
As witness the waves
By the cat walk of the moon
The effect of the strike
Of the high tides
Visible
At the surface

The causes
Of the over flow
Of the blood- brook
For a piece of land
I can not find
But hear the cacophony
Of the biased silence
And touch the statue of the stoic mind
My senses completely betrayed
No one tells me
Even I am refused
By the sweet breeze
