Big Bird Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Big Bird

Her skirt was lifted; hair stood on its end & Goosebumps
Leaves on the trees, silver waves and the streams, all smiles with soft breeze
Signal for migration, time to watch

“Look there, Gap.”

One would say and other:

“See T.V.? ”

In the park, (Rosetta McClain)
Things are so on Watch Days

Tens and tens soft voices, eager eyes, open hearts
Stand firm; look around, to the sides and above for the Hawks

Migrating

And Eagles and the rest

It was nice…it was nice…the skirt of skies seen lifted.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
As a new member of a meet-up group, 'Lovers of Nature' I went watching the birds migrate to the south and it was great.
