Big Catnap - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Big Catnap - Lincoln Park Zoo

Jabari, Lion King, does do
A well earned big catnap indeed
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
It's no matter to him that he'd
Picked a resting location that
Let visitors get a close up
Peek at him in his habitat.
Jabari just wants a snooze, yup!
So off into dreamland he goes,
His whiskers twitching now and then.
He's all laid out in relaxed pose,
Some snore grunts from this lion's den.

Sooner or later he'll awake,
And rule his realm till next nap break.
